Terms of Use

Last updated 16 August 2026

These terms cover your use of the Piqt app and this website. By using Piqt, you agree to them.

Using Piqt

Piqt is a photo curator for iPhone that analyzes your photo library on your device to help you organize and clean it up.

Your photos and your library

You own your photos. Piqt only ever suggests changes. It never deletes photos on its own. Actions like favoriting, or moving a photo to the "Piqt: To Delete" album, happen because you chose them, and final deletion always takes place in Apple's Photos app under your control. You are responsible for the decisions you make about your own library, including maintaining your own backups.

Piqt Plus

Scanning, scoring, and browsing your library is free. Acting on it — favoriting, clearing photos, finishing a video trim — requires Piqt Plus, offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, a one-time lifetime purchase, or a limited one-time Founders edition, through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). Both subscription options start with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers; unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription. Subscription prices are shown before you buy and charged to your Apple ID; a subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, which you can do any time in your Apple ID account settings. Recovering a photo from the "Piqt: To Delete" album is never gated behind Piqt Plus, subscribed or not. Purchases can be restored on a new device using the "Restore Purchases" option in Settings.

Acceptable use

Please don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app, or use it to violate any law or anyone else's rights.

Disclaimers and liability

Piqt is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to make it safe and reliable — and have designed it specifically so that no photo is ever deleted without your explicit action in Photos — we can't guarantee it will be error-free. We recommend keeping a current backup of your photo library, as you would with any tool that touches it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Piqt is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

The App Store

Piqt is distributed through Apple. Your use is also subject to Apple's applicable terms, including the App Store terms. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

Changes

We may update these terms as Piqt evolves. We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
